Mr. Obama, please sign on to Al Gore’s 10-year to 100% renewable energy challenge! Biofules are not a solution. Renewable electric power from wind and solar would provide true energy independence.

~::~ Environmentalist Barack Obama For President 2008! Great Video! But, It Is *Not* Acceptable To Cut Down Forests~Trees To Fuel Cars! Wood~Chips Are Killed Cut Up TREES! That Is Totally Unacceptable! We Need Clean Fuels Such As Solar And Magnetism. Water Cannot Be A Fuel For Cars Etc Because Animals People Plants… ALL Living Beings~Things Need That Water To Live And We Currently Do Not Have Enough Water And Drought In Many Places. Melting Disappearing Glaciers Mean Even Less Water! ~::~

man it’s so simple…our reliance on oil is the main cause for the majority of the world’s ills right now: war in iraq (and across the world), global warming, and inflation…and not to mention oil is a depletable natural resource that will disappear in this century…it’s past time to think seriously about fuel alternatives…this is probably the most underrated issue in this election, yet obama is the only one willing to go into depth about it

I’m so glad he mentioned the Appalachians and MTR. This is the first time I’ve ever been enthusiastic about a politician. He has my support and my vote.

Barack is a very intelligent and eloquent man - Europe cannot wait until the day when he moves into the White House.

Ethanol fuel would have to be cellulosic to hope to be efficient.

mygif
Anonymous said in November 7th, 2008 at 3:12 am

We need to adapt the EU model for fuel efficiency.

50mpg+ diesel cars.

Hell, the Audi R8 super car has a 600hp V12 diesel that gets 24mpg!

This might sound a bit silly to most people, but I’ve watched the Eyes of Nye, and I have seen Bill Nye speak, and I wonder if he would not make a good Science Advisor?
