I do not like the first speakers characterization of Ghana’s past 10 year history. She says,”They sat and did nothing.”. I am sure in a place like Ghana, the people didn’t just sit and do nothing not under a military regime. She makes it as if the whole country was on welfare. And as a result, the people became lazy. If I did not know and better, I would thing she is using the same argument a lot racist used to describe Black Americans. I can’t believe this clip made into the film.

Ghana did not miss the Industrial Revolution it was successfully stopped by the colonialists. One the many wars between the British and the Ashanti was precisely over this reason.

Nice Doc. The most significant thing is this line: “We missed in Africa, the Industrial Revolution”. i have never thought of it that way.
Bye the way, my name is Zulfau and i came to the US from Ghana in 1999. It is so nice to see Ghana getting along. As a child in Suyani, i don’t remember ever using the computer.

This is what can be achieved if we can only work on our dreams. 10 years ago, there was nothing like busyInternet.
